Solicitation of projects in Eastern Europe
By 24:00 on August 22, 2023, the application for The 6th China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest has been completed. A total of 260 projects were collected in the Eastern European competition area, attracting high-level talents from more than 20 countries, including China, the United States, the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Finland, Russia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Australia. Among them, there are 4 academician programs and 7 international talent programs. More than60% of the main applicants have doctoral degrees or above.
Award Setting
Division preliminary award
There will be 5 winners in the Eastern European division of this competition, with a bonus of RMB 30,000; Ten finalists will be awarded with a bonus of 10,000 yuan and a total bonus pool of 250,000 yuan.
Final Competition Awards and Prizes
The final competition will have 5 first prizes with a prize of 50,000 RMB/person (certificate), 10 second prizes with a prize of 30,000 RMB/person (certificate), and 15 third prizes with a prize of 20,000 RMB /person (certificate), totaling 30 awards.
In order to attract overseas high-end talent projects to start up in Jinan, the competition final set 5 best overseas talent project awards, the prize money of 20,000 RMB/person (certificate).
Policy Support
If the final competition-winning projects that start up and transform in Jinan within one year meet the basic application requirements of Jinan's talent introduction policies, the projects will be directly included in the talent project management after on-site inspections and comprehensive evaluations. Corresponding financial support will be offered.
A project database will be established for the competition, and dedicated service officers will be assigned in municipal departments, districts, and parks. A green channel will be opened to comprehensively utilize talent and technology support policies, industrial development funding support, land guarantee policies, etc. It will strengthen tracking and provide all-round services in registration, office space, enterprise planning, personnel recruitment, and investment and financing guarantees to enhance effectiveness.
